0000816: SMTP relay may be rejected because of sender email
Description
Some mail relays provided by ISPs reject email if the sender address cannot be resolved. The mailer module uses the hostname for the sender address. In cases where the hostname is only resolved internally on the LAN (i.e. gateway.lan), the upstream ISP will reject mail notifications using the Mailer module.
Additional Information
Allow the sender address to be configured/overridden.
